Honouring the memories of the more than 59 Missing and Murdered Loved Ones in the Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo in Treaty 8.

All are welcome. 

6:00 PM Gathering for a meal of soup and bannock with coffee & tea.

6:30 PM Welcoming everyone with prayer, and drum songs.

7:00 PM (sunset) Candlelight vigil, honouring loved ones with photos lighting up tipis along the river bank.

7:45 PM Closing reflection and drum songs.

8:00 PM Conclusion

Families who have not submitted photos previously are invited to send photos to Jessica Callieou, MMEIP Coordinator, at Jessica.Callieou@atcfn.ca 

For those who can not attend, you can show your solidarity in other ways.
